Pets On The Go started operation in 1979 as Kingwood Kennels in Kingwood, Texas.
In 1985 we added Pets On The Go, Inc. and expanded our business to include world wide shipping and receiving of pets. Through our affiliation with the International Pet and Animal Transportation Association, (IPATA) we work hand in hand with other pet professionals to insure safe and proper handling of your special family member.
Pets On The Go’s many years of experience have benefited thousands of clients from countries such as Australia, New Zealand, China, The United Kingdom, The United Emirates, and our United States. (Did you know that Hawaii requires a quarantine period?)
Many of our clients did not realize that faulty or incomplete documentation, improper procedures at the originating country, or an innocent oversight on their part, could result in the quarantine or even the destruction of their pet upon arrival in a foreign country. Also, your travel itinerary is not always the best schedule or airline for your pets travel. Unless you absolutely just want to want to fly with your pet, Pets On The Go, Inc. will find the quickest and most direct route for your pet. For these many years we have kept up with changing airline capabilities and import and export policies so our clients don’t have to. It has always been our duty to have our clients pets arrive safe, happy, and secure at their new homes.
In 1997 Pets On The Go, Incorporated began caring for pets in transit on Continental Airlines with layovers at Houston Intercontinental Airport. In 2005 Pets On The Go, Incorporated was awarded the contract for operating the on-site kenneling facility for Continental Airlines. We care for over 5,000 pets a year for Continental Airlines PetSafe® program.
